My brothers and sisters, Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatu Allah Wa Barakatu.
Finally I finished the discussion and got a master's degree (Distinction) in (Contemporary Islamic Studies) from Zayed University in Abu Dhabi.
The topic of my Master was:

The impact of foreign children's movies (cartoon / animation) on the faith and values of the Muslim child in the light of the educational goals of the story in the Quran

***********************************
A summary of research in English

Praise be to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon His messenger, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and his family and companions.

One of the greatest things that Allah has assigned to us towards the blessing of children is to raise them on the straight path which will help them in their worldly deeds as well as the afterlife. Therefore, when we talk about parenting, we just talk about the great trusteeship and
serious responsibility.

It is very important to take into account the generational gap, informational boom and technological advances, because most methods used to raise children in the past might not be applicable now. Therefore, it is the responsibility of the parents to stay aware of the world around them and how it might affect the process of educating. The world has become like a small village, or what some call globalization.

There is no doubt in our modern world that we live in a real struggle between the values of the new world (globalization), and the values of many cultures and groups of people. There is also no doubt that the media, one of the tributaries of globalization and the most effective, has a deep impact in the formation of the child's personality, and affecting him either positively or negatively. Animations and cartoons have taken over Arabic television, and as a result a child aged between five and six years could spend four hours a day, on average, in front of the TV.

Due to the lack of production of Arabic cartoons, the Arab’s television stations look to import those movies from foreign countries, and the problem is that these movies are all produced by companies that do not invoke the values and concepts of Islamic values. Studies have confirmed the depth of the impact of animated films on a person’s childhood whether positively or negatively. As a result, this research will discuss the arising problems due to these foreign movies (cartoons) on the perceptions and imaginations of the Muslim child, in relation to the foundations of belief, and Islamic moral values.

For those, and many other reasons, the researcher has chosen the research topic to be entitled as follows:
"The impact of foreign children's movies (cartoon / animation) on the faith and values of the Muslim child in the light of the educational goals of the story in the Quran".

The current research aims to focus on what cartoons or animations contain of values and concepts, whether these values are obvious or hidden. And the study will focus on the foundations of faith and Islamic values among the Muslim child, and how they might be affected by those, compared to the objectives of educational stories in the holy Qur'an which is the criterion, constitution and the balance that must be used to measure and compare to every other worldly issue we might face.

The researcher depends in this study on: the descriptive approach represented in surveying and analyzing, through the following steps:
1. Monitoring some writings and studies that dealt with the concepts of research and analysis.
2. Illustrating the positive and negative effects of foreign films (cartoons) on the faith and values of the Muslim child.
3. Content analyzing in order to determine the implications of the Qur’anic story and its views.
4. Researcher also used deductive approach in order to extract the educational goals from the texts of Qur’anic stories.
5. Clarifying the role that the Islamic culture can contribute to the child to counter the effects of globalization, and detection of obstacles that prevent the performance of this role.
6. Using personal interviews to a random sample of children in a school in Abu Dhabi.
7. Developing a set of proposals and actions that contribute to overcoming the obstacles to formation of Islamic culture in a child, which works toward increasing the effectiveness of its role in facing the effects of foreign films, and how to find alternatives to those movies, or reduce their impact on the values and ideology of the Muslim child.

The research has been divided into four chapters, as follows:

Chapter I: Foundations of faith and values of the Muslim child.
Chapter II: Educational goals of the story in the Qur'an.
Chapter III: Impact of foreign movies (Cartoons) on the faith and values of the Muslim child.
Chapter IV: Conclusions- (findings and recommendations

Research and observations have shown that the lack of domestic animation and movie production opens the door to importing them from other countries of different language and culture, which negatively affects the children because those movies reflect neither the reality nor the Islamic values. That is assuming that they communicate the values and reflect the culture of the creating country. Therefore, efforts must be spent on finding the positive, dazzling and strong alternative to those international films. Alternatives that hold true Islamic values, reflecting the educational goals of the stories of the holy Qur’an, produced not only to the Muslim world, but also to be translated and made available to the whole world, in order to show the true face of Islam to adults and children of the world, building bridges of understanding and respect towards the Global Humanitarian Islamic concepts that are being distorted for political, religious and sectarian purposes. All for the purpose of building a generation of strong faith, constant determination, and that has a vision of a universal civilization, through which they can start the reconstruction of not only the earth, but also the whole universe around him, to deserve succession of God in this land, and carry his message to the worlds.
